I think you could have done a better job on the crust like making it so there isn’t a gap where you broke it off

what wax do you use for the crust?

I’m sure this candle is going to look great. However ladies if you are thinking about making candles. There is so much more than wicking and wax. Every fragrance oil changes the wax blend so there is a lot of experimenting before you find the perfect wick, wicks come in several sizes and it is crucial for a prober burn and scent throw. As I’m listening I hear she’s using Gel wax so I’m guessing these candles are for show and not aroma? Gel wax does give off a strong aroma. Another thing is the temperature that you pour the wax. There are many waxes on the market with many many variables & formulations. Making the best candle takes a lot of patience and testing. I think if you are going to teach candle pouring you should include everything. Just my opinion lol I know candle makers never like to share there formulas lol . Good luck!!!

you should pour the wax for the crust in the pan 1st then add the ''spices'' and they would settle more evenly and would look better

these are amazing! my only suggestion is to cut the wixs before adding the glaze.

I think a little pie box would be a fantastic idea, even though it adds more to the cost. I think customers would really appreciate it and it would add to the realism.

Beeswax takes the ions out of the air that cause Astjams, Hayfever and other Respiratory Diseases. I make & Sell The safest Candles and Melts in Australia - They won't burn if accidently tipped over and they put themselves out so no burning down homes due to candles. I make my melts in the 6 cubes clamshell pack and 2 cube based on a 8hr melt time lasts up to 6 days and still fill the room with the aroma with the scents. I make my scented strong unless customer wants a subtle scent. I use 2 1/2 cups, 2-3 Tbsp Beeseax plus colour and 30-45mls Scent I charge $6 Aud as I'm in Australia. The wax has been dermatology tested to be safe for all skin types and is use in Soild perfumes, Solid Lotion Stickdms, Lip Balms, Cream, lotion (no emulsifying needed) for my melt and pour I use Stephenson Range SLS, SLES & WSLES free bases from the Aussie company of Bramble Berry Called Aussie Soap Supplies www.aussiesoapsupplies.com.au - iv used them from the beginning and find there products reasonbility Awesome :) I get my scents from a store called Eroma www.eroma.com.au. 🌟 Nutmeg, will have hallucinogenic effects and react with pain-relieving drugs in labour.. 🌟Rosemary which will increase blood pressure, and may cause contractions. 🌟Basil & Lavendula Augistifolia (type of lavender) which will to contribute to abnormal cell development. 🌟Jasmine Ylang Ylang, Cinnamon & Clary Sage will trigger contractions. Sage & Rose, which may cause bleeding in your uterus (womb). 🌟Juniper berry, which may affect your kidneys.
